Let me introduce

Hello

I have some reflection about this subject, but fist let me
introduce myself, than I'll observe the discussion and later
I'll say anything

I'm physician working and living in Poland working and engaged
in progress of medical Internet in my country. I participate
on Polish Medical Internet Conference and I had organized one
(4th myself - http://nike.ptkardio.pl/IV-KONF). The subject
of network security is very important - some paper - the last
two in English I have written (http://www.am.torun.pl/~pekasz/mypubl.html).
This problem becomes still greater in context of medical networks too.
Since 1999, while the one known medical server was destroyed completely
by hackers I have proposed to install on it qmail, djbdns and
D.J. Bernstein software as access control system. So tcpserver now
takes control on all almost all network services including telnet,
ftp, smtp and other. No security problems has been met.
Since this time I became D.J. Bernstein software enthusiast.
This is in Poland interested, that the doctors was one of the
first propagating qmail and ezmlm in our country, because the
free and good listserver software was wanted and we can say,
almost all listservers uses ezmlm. I will do more and attempted
to install djbdns with success.

So it is really true - using and having secure software is most
important point for further progress of Internet.

So I'd like to look to discussion here and hope to help in this
discussion as the advanced user rather than advanced computer
specialist
