UNESCO/Jikji Memory of the World Prize. Call for Nominations
11-10-2004 (UNESCO) - Nominations are now being accepted for the 
first-ever UNESCO/Jikji Memory of the World Prize for significant 
contributions to the preservation and accessibility of
documentary 
heritage. The Prize of US$30 000 was created to commemorate the 
inscription of the Buljo jikji simche yojeol, the oldest known
book 
of movable metal print in the world, in the Memory of the World 
Register.
