1) Treaty on the Protection for Broadcasting Organizations:

Against the convening of a Diplomatic Conference in 2006: Iran
(on behalf of the Asian Group), Argentina (on behalf of the
Friends of Development minus Kenya/Ecuador), and India.

For the convening of a Diplomatic Conference in 2006: United
States, the European Communities and their Member States, Japan,
Mexico, Kenya, Ecuador, Switzerland (on behalf of Group B),
Morocco, Russian Federation, Antigua and Barbuda (on behalf of
the Caribbean countries), Colombia, Ghana, Cameroon, Kazakhstan,
Ukraine, and Croatia.

There is still no consensus on this item and it will be the
subject of informal discussions starting at 7:15 PM (Geneva
time).

2) Development Agenda and Substantive Patent Law Treaty (SPLT)

Similarly, the lines have been drawn in the Development Agenda
and SPLT discussions and will be the subject of informal
consultations to flesh out a consensus.

Ren Bucholz, Teresa Hackett and I will be providing blog notes
from yesterday's discussions of the broadcasting treaty and the
development agenda soon.
