Dear edu people, unfortunatly not yet inline with a strategic plan an interview request came along the way. The magazine 'LinuxUser' is planning a feature on free software and education for its july edition. This should also include some interviews etc. beside the obvious programme reviews. Therefore I am looking for people who are involved and/or have some knowledge about the deployment of free software at schools, universities etc. no matter whether backoffice or user programmes. Although the magazine is for the german market, english or german is fine as the interview language. I especially welcome replies from those among you who have some knowledge on the european level, i.e. with an overview about the initiatives and projects currently active. Of course everybody is invited to express his/her availability for interviews. The interviews will probably be conducted by email or telefone and the deadline for the whole feature is: 15.06.2009 Since I already heave introduced myself this would also be a good opportunity for you to say hello on the list (once again ;-) ). I wont do the interviews myself, so the procedure would be to send the summary of your expertise to the Author (Ferdinand Thommes) and later send you personal emails, kindly requesting to get in contact with him for scheduleing the interviews. (this somehow also respects the privacy questions a little bit.) thank you very much for your replies mfg Thomas Jensch, Intern - Zurich office -- Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) (http://fsfe.org) Join the Fellowship of FSFE!
