Students develop Free Software for the public sector

Hello all, I found another interesting news entry on osor.eu: "DK: Students to develop open source software for the Danish public sector" http://www.osor.eu/news/dk-students-to-develop-open-source-software-for-the-danish-public-sector I think this is really great! Students get paid to be involved in FS developement and learn a lot outside "sandboxes" while at the same time public administrations get the software they really need and gain the freedom to share it with other administrations and reduce costs on top of that. I'd love to see more of such projects. I found this one [2] already, but is anybody here aware of others?
