Hello everyone,

I'm Kihyun from South Korea.

(안녕하세요! 저는 대한민국에 살고 있는 이기현 입니다.)

I'm preparing publishing book of Ada & Zangemann Korean version personally.

I'm not belongs to any publishing business. but this story was so moving to
me

and I found that there's no Korean version of this book. it was so
frustrated.

Because there’s no easy way to tell this awesome stroy for my kids.

so I started translating it into Korean and I thought it is meaningful to
publish this book for all Korean kids.

Now I've finished Korean translation and illustration work.

Next step is finding Korean publisher who is interested in publishing this
book.

But before I will contact publishers, I have some question.

Here is my questions :

1) Can I get some help of publication like how to find good publisher?

I knew FSFE published Deutch, English and several version of the book.

In your experience is there any tip to find good publisher?

2) Where I contact to notify and discuss publication?

Should I send email to [email protected] or Matthias Kirschner personally?

Or can I just do it by myself?

3) I would like to change Konrad's name who is one of the Ada's friend.

Because “Konrad” is not familiar name with Korean child. So I changed it to
one of the name of

famous Korean computer scientist. And I also want to change Konrad's hair
color to black.

Because most Korean people have black hair. So I want to express he is one
of the asian boy like the children who are reading the book in Korea.

Is there any restriction of changing Konrad's name and hair color?

4) Can I use the same book reviews of back cover of English book?

Here are book reviews of English book:

“A rousing tale of self-reliance, community, and standing up to bullies…
software freedom is human freedom!”

- Cody Doctorow, Sci-Fi Author

“Introduces readers young and old to the power and peril of software.
Behind it all is a backdrop of ethics of knowledge sharing upon which the
ard of human history rides.”

- Vint Cerf, Computer Scientist and One of the Inventors of the Internet

Can I use the same reviews without permission? I’m planning to use
translated version of reviews at back cover of Korean book.

I wish I could get a good result with Korean version.

So it’s great helpful to take interest in my work.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Kihyun Lee
