Intel beats Microsoft in EU fines

Intel has been fined a record Euro 1.04 billion for anti-competitive
practices, beating Euro 497 million fined on Microsoft in 2004. They
paid retailers to avoid AMD products. So, it seems, these giants become
giants through trickery only!
