Hi,

I wish to work full time on diaspora packaging at least for a month, so
I'm asking the community to support me.

This would be my first campaign to fund Free Software development via
crowd funding. I think our attitude of waiting for Free Software to
mature, waiting for other people to code features we need, needs to
change. With internet as a medium of fund raising our regular fund
raising targets=8D needs to evolve from just charity and festivals and
sustain continued development of Free Software we use every day.

I'm willing to put more of my full time to sustain this model of
developing features we want, not just for myself but build teams if more
people are interested. Let me know if you would be able to work full
time on projects if we can raise the money.

Jabber, diaspora, webmail, firefox os, all needs lot of work to get even
basic functionality we are familiar with proprietary services working.
Jabber can't do push notifications, roundcube don't have conversations
firefox os doesn't have text secure etc.

Share it among your friends and see if you can contribute some amount,
however small it is. Also if you want to join the packaging effort,
I will be able to share some amount from what I receive.

You can use a credit card or transfer money directly to my account.

In the meanwhile please test the installer package (instructions here
https://wiki.debian.org/Diaspora#Diaspora_Installer_Package) and provide
feedback so I can upload it to debian.
