I don't think I can attribute the statement to him, because the meeting was under Chatham House rules IIRC, but there aren't many lawyers in London who specialise in these licenses. I certainly don't know who the clients he referred to are, though. This meeting was the BCS OSSG meeting on a new license, and I wrote notes on that meeting to this list at the time (25th July, 2007 - according to the archive, you even read them ;) - I didn't name him then either, so I assume my memory about the meeting rules is/was correct. Other members of this list were there also, though, and can correct me if they dare :o> Cheers, Alex.
