The next was to investigate the documentation of one vendor providing IP solution for bluetooth. The vendor has implemented the baseband controller in hardware and implemented the lower layers' protocols on an embedded microcontroller and interface the system with UART to the HOST CPU that runs the L2CAP and higher layers. again, there is no details about the HW specs of the baseband implemented that could help in a clear definition of our system HW modules. This part is crucial indeed. post your comments please. But the idea of implementing some protocol layers by firmware on an embedded microcontroller could be included in our task list when upgrading our system if possible. There are some open ucontrollers that could be engaged in our work. I am noting that SW developers of firmware is having a big tasks with us in NOUR. The system modules were connected together using an AMBA bus; in our system the Wish-bone is going to play that role. ..... -- Mohamed A.Salem Handasa Arabia Co-Founder www.handasarabia.org -------------------------- NOUR Mailing List Handasa Arabia Organization http://www.handasarabia.org [email protected] Message number 101
