Hi, I agree with you that the external system clock is not defined in the spec because I did not find a good criteria to define it. Does anyone know how can we define it? the only requierment for the design that it must be faster than 1 MHz for the system to operate properly and fast. According to some chips I saw it ranges from 5 -20 MHz If you are interested you can take this part of the project and give us your conclusions.
