I had some time I was able to use this weekend so I went ahead and implemented
the base RF link emulation we've talked about. This is just the daemon that
handles passing messages from one device to another, none of the register
emulation or anything related to the controller. The note that the
implementation is based on is included in the tarball, I've stuck to the simple
message passing scheme from the previous note to this list. There are two test
programs that can be used to write bits into the rf layer and read them back
out again. Package is at: http://www.unrooted.net/nour-rfd-0.1.tgz

There's tons of cleanup that needs to be done to make sure that the RF daemon
is behaving the way it should. If you're interested in the software dev side
of this, take a look at that code and the notes we have. I'm hoping that the
different classes of insufficiences with the existing code will trigger with
different people so that we can divide up the work some. If you're interested
in cleaning up parts of this or starting the work on the registers cover for
the daemon let me know.

                                                Mike
