Oh, I know, it's no problem.  My message was just meant to say "I'm still here,
but it's taking me a long time".  Maybe that overall message got lost in the

Yea, I'm not definite that the emulators are the best way to test out the
register interface either.  At the time it was the only option that sounded
realistic, but now that we have some new members they can provide other
options and ideas.

I hadn't seen much information about this on the mailing list.   How is 
that work being organized?  I would like to try to follow along.

Yes, I know I'm definitely not stalled.. I have more work than I know what to
do with :-)  But that work hasn't directly resulted in updates to the site or
messages to the mailing list.  And really, now that I think about it, something
should be going out there.  Since this is an open project there should be 
posts to the list and updates to the site, even within substeps of the
development.  The whole "release early, release often" principle.  If you have
been working on details with OFOQ, please do post some information about the
progress to the mailing list.  I've been doing some work on uCLinux on my own,
but I'm sure I could pick more relevant topics if I knew the issues that you
were facing in getting the prototype ready.

How about setting up project channels on the oftc.net IRC servers?  Yahoo 
messenger is great, but it's still normally a one-to-one communication
mechanism.  It would be nice to have a place where anyone from the project can
come and hang out, and I think it would encourage some more involvment from the
less vocal members out there.  Some people are just more comfortable with 
realtime interaction I've found.  Just an idea,
