Re: good news that needs serious manpower

I'm still here, and willing to help out where I can.  My background is
primarily on the software side.  The languages I know are all software 
development (C, C++, various assembly languages, perl, scheme/lisp, lots of 
others that I'm sure are even less relevant at this particular stage), but they
could be usefull for tools work too.  I've read some bits about VHDL and
Verilog, but I've never used any commercial tools or managed to get hold of an
FPGA or anything of the sort.  So that means no practical experience on the
hardware side (that should probably be more strongly worded, cause I've never
seen an FPGA based project at all, just heard about them online).

I have worked with BlueZ under Linux before though, and have a pretty decent
understanding of some of the more abstracted parts of the Bluetooth spec.  I 
can't promise any time commitment.  I just don't have a solid enough schedule
to be able to say that I will be able to contibute a fixed number of hours per
week over any length of time.
