I have some questions

Q:What is Processor 'core' ? Does it mean the processor
design ? If so , why not make our own processor instead
of using open cores processor ?

Q:Again , why use open cores wishbone bus core instead
of designing our own ?

Q:I don't understand part 4.1(cpu core) , is it Altera
'specific things' or a known cpu designing method that
I don't know ?

Finally , I know how to design state machines
(Theoretically) and I want to take responsibility for
(or participate in) this part of the project .
