I took a look at the contents of the file lcd_test_code.zip, and from what I 
remember didn't see a reference to a linux driver within the files there.  I
had some trouble with the lcd testing document pdf, and I forgot to try it on
another system, I'll check around in there to see if there's a reference to the
Linux driver.

How would this LCD test information be used?  Would I need to get modelsim to
use these files to simulate the LCD?  or1ksim says that it supports 
peripherals under simulation, but I haven't looked at how they're modeled yet.
Could these LCD files be run using a free tool somehow?  If so maybe we could
hook the model directly to the simulator.
