I don't have personal experience doing this type of thing but
from reading lots of discussion groups, it seems that a lot of
people have success with the following, which is a variation of
your flowchart:

       ISP
        |
        Fetchmail
        |
        Procmail
        |
        Spamassassin
        |
>>>     Use Procmail to deliver to mailboxes on an IMAP server
        |
        Clients
             Mozilla on Linux

             Netscape on Windows


If you are delivering to multiple users, you need to make sure
that the ISP includes the envelope information in each message.
