Re: easy server-side filtering with subaddressing

There are a lot of things I want to address in your message 
Beartooth, but I'm going to step through it slowly.

Beartooth, please post an excerpt of the message that you are 
referring to above. I am interested only in these headers:

   From:
   To:
   Subject:

Because Gmane mangles email addresses, replace the '@' character 
with ' (AT) '. For example, type something like this:

  beartooth+test (AT) mailworks.org

After I posted these instructions, I looked at the web-based 
version of this group here:

 <http://news.gmane.org/gmane.org.infiniteink>

And realized that all the email addresses in my instructions 
were mangled by Gmane (to protect them from address harvesters). 
Because of this, we need to write email addresses in a way that 
they won't get mangled by Gmane. I propose that we do this 
transformation:

 '@' --> ' (AT) '

But if you or anyone can think of a reason that some other 
transformation is better, please do say!
