It's not a kludge at all and I've written about the exact procedure you did on my Power Pine page in this section: Using Aggregate Operations to Select and Move Messages in a Mailbox <http://www.ii.com/internet/messaging/pine/pc/#mvAggregate> Here's a tip: If you are moving messages to a mailbox that already exists, you can save yourself typing the target mailbox name (and possibly MIStyping it), by setting this Pine feature: [X] enable-tab-completion Then after you type '; A A S ^N' (Select > All > Apply > Save > NextCollection), just type the first couple characters of the the target mailbox's name and press TAB to complete the name.
