Please be advised that the legacy migration script is 
basically ready for use in porting sites to the Plone 
Framework.

I am considering ways to encapsulate the code required to run 
this script into a zope product but in the meanwhile it is 
called from an external python method. In the zmi this method 
is located in a folder off the root at: "/usr/external". This 
method calls an external python module in the Extensions 
directory which acts as a dispatcher to the library of python 
methods in the "Extensions/fn" directory.
In order for the migration script to work it will require 
placement somewhere in the zmi and on the file system.  This 
migration script will be used solely for the porting of teh 
existing sites to the 3G architecture and will therefore be 
temporary. Please consider these issues when you let me know 
when the migration script may be installed in the new 
architecture.
