Re: portal_catalog issue

Hi Mallik

Try the following (one at a time checking resulting effect of 
each option before going to the next.)

1. run update catalog function from Advanced tab
2. run clear contents catalog function from Advanced tab 
followed by Find and Catalog all objects function
3. run clear contents catalog function from Advanced tab 
followed by rename plone site from troot of zmi

Finally Why not set up your plone site on the mallikdev 
instance on our unix server so I can have a look at it.  Let 
me know . . .
