Hi, i tried out the preference panel. Now the Gender section looks very good. It has even a red dot, which means that that field should not be left blank, but, as you said, it doe not enforce it. Soon I will send you the list and sequence of all the attributes we want to collect from the members (like birthday, country, etc). We do need to have some fields compulsory, though. Could you please ask on the German Plone list? It is almost as big as the English one, and they are saying it is very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you! priyadarshan Vasudeva Server On Mar 24, 2004, at 10:42 AM, (Dhyani) wrote: > Priyadarshan asked for this: > >> 1) Can you specify Gender as a pull-down menu (like the "content >> editor" option? >> Values would be: >> null (default) >> Male >> Female >> >> 2) Can you make it compulsory to choose (must be not null)? > > The result of 1) can be found at > http://www.vasudevaserver.org:7091/Dhyani > (log in or join, goto my preferences / personal preferences). > > Unfortunately, I was not able to make it compulsory.
