Advantages: Why not make a buck in the process ? If PHP is your poison (it's not right now, but I assure you it's an interesting and widely used language), check out the Horde project and its bounty at http://www.horde.org/bounties/. Or participate in the Ubuntu project. Mark Shuttleworth is willing to pay big bucks for different projects to be worked upon. Grab your pieces at http://www.ubuntulinux.org/community/bounties/document_view These are just the two that I know about. I am pretty damn sure other projects have similar system. It is a shame to see bounties going unclaimed for months when so many people complain about lack of jobs in programming and IT. _______________________________________________ Subscription and Archive: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/open-source-now-list/ - For K12OS technical help join K12OSN: <https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/k12osn>
