Yes, it works great for accessing multiple mail storage types. (both 
imap folder and mailbox file). Lets us run imap for 
squirrelmail->perdition->dovecot->email-files, so we can get webmail 
access to a cluster of five different machines for one domain (9000 
users). We use qpopper for pop3.
