As much as I'd love to invite you all to be customers, don't come to
Maine.

We pay about $0.16 per KWH, making the power bill the major component in
a customer's colocation bill. We save a worthwhile amount of money in
the winter by mixing some outdoor air, but it's not substantial enough
to affect colo customer's bills.

If you were on a Maine island with power, it might be $0.28-0.55 per
KWH.

You guys got it easy. Our residential rate is 25.4 cents per kilowatt hour. The large customer rates are so confusing, I don't even want to try to figure it out.

This is lower that what it is now, but you get the idea: http://www.neo.ne.gov/statshtml/115.htm

"Across all sectors, Hawaii has the highest electricity rate..." So, come on over! ;-)
