I'm looking for a "hotspot-in-a-box" solution that we can centrally host for multiple remote sites (mostly parks and public areas). I would like to be able to say I could take the traffic L2 back to this box so that it acts as the gateway, but if I had to L3 route all the traffic through it, I would be OK with that. It would need to be able to work against our RADIUS server so that we could authenticate our own customers, but for those that are not our customers, we would like the option to bill them using credit card, Paypal, and the like. I would prefer to buy as opposed to outsource the payment/portal side, but I'm open to that if there aren't any other good options. Again, I'm looking for comments from those who have operational experience, as my google-fu is as good anyone's. =) Thanks, Frank -- Eat sushi frequently. - Avi [email protected] is the human contact address.
