Typically an IP address is listed if glue needs to be provided. Frank -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Keith Sent: Thursday, September 16, 2010 6:05 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Quick DNS question. I did an auth DNS change with them yesterday and one of the DNS servers I added is from a .ca TLD. I have noticed this with another registrar too, where even though I specified the IP address of the .ca DNS server, a whois shows the IP of one auth DNS server, but the other auth server that is off a .ca TLD, does not show the IP address. I don't think this is a problem but why does a whois show the two auth DNS servers, but only the IP address for one of them?
