They are, if like us, registrars and registration providers aren't using their 
own software.  The people you need to convince are the people who write the 
software.  As stated earlier, we're using Logic Boxes.  They're simply a bunch 
of engineers.  Try to convince them.

Of course they have a retail arm.  Reseller Club.  I'll mention it to their 
retail arm when I see them at HostingCon next month.  The first thing they'll 
ask me is 'what's in it' for them.  And I won't blame them.  But if they do 
it, then so will Logic Boxes, and then I'll get it, too.  As will many others.

You can try convincing GoDaddy; they have a lot of resellers as well.  Good 
Luck; it's doubtful GoDaddy will do anything that doesn't make them money (my 
opinion.

Dotster?  If our experience is any indication, their reseller business is 
going downhill.

OpenSRS?  Maybe; their prices are high enough and they appear to write their 
own software.

Really cool.  Years ago we colo'ed at a DC in San Diego which gave away 
everything.  We currently do it in Los Angeles for our clients because our 
'hotel' does it for us.  Since we require escorted entry we generally ask them 
what they might need or expect them to tell us.  If nothing else, there's a 
Fry's between my office and the DC.
