I don't understand how this will help block adding toolbars.  inbox.com 
is a semi-legitimate email service (like hotmail), do they block it?  
Because if they don't block it, this solution wouldn't solve the problems.

We use LogMeIn.  He disables it on his end so that his computer can't be 
accessed unless he turns on the LogMeIn service on his end.  Then I 
log-in and remotely fix stuff.  This works OK, and my other sisters can 
also login as needed.

The problem isn't gaining access (when needed), it's finding a solution 
that doesn't require me constantly accessing his computer, diagnosing 
which toolbar got installed this time, finding out how to rip it out, etc.
