Even many years and several careers later, I keep my list subscription
going, if for nothing else to remind me of the glory days of starting up a

A few of us :-)

Moved into providing WISP service after dialup started to die and DSL
appeared to be a win only for the ILEC's.

Most of the newbie noise moved into the Ubiquiti mailing lists and forums.
It's pretty comical watching a whole new generation try to figure out how
(mostly not) to run an ISP.

It gets a bit tiring trying to explain things - so I mostly don't anymore.
