nac.net is still alive and well. 

Now we talk about things like the best way to measure PUE, or cfm per kW. I miss all the old discussions about modem protocols like K56flex.  Ah the good old days...  -Blake

A few of us :-)

Moved into providing WISP service after dialup started to die and DSL 
appeared to be a win only for the ILEC's.

Most of the newbie noise moved into the Ubiquiti mailing lists and 
forums.  It's pretty comical watching a whole new generation try to 
figure out how (mostly not) to run an ISP.

It gets a bit tiring trying to explain things - so I mostly don't anymore.
