Mango is a generic name.

Even if there was no website configured at that address
it does not mean that a group of farmers, an airline or
an creative design studio, management accounting for ngo's,
the band mango groove and a hundred thousand others
have a stronger or weaker claim to the name.

Even in trademarks there exists over 40 classes, for example
I own the name "Dove" for computers and computer networks
but Lever owns the name in soap.

Lets use your own example of mango.co.za:
Now if someone owned the domain that would enable adverts
on the site, allowing all the "mango" people to advertise, that
would be quite beneficial to business and nice fro everyone.

As it is the mango growers association seems to have an
advert on the main page that offers travel services.

Anyway, I agree fully that domain squatting aka cybersquatting
is extremely evil and if someone were squatting on cocacola.co.za
or google.co.za that is of course very evil.

And yes, 419 scams are very evil

And yes, email scams are evil and yes spam itself is very evil.

Okay, and before it becomes an issue, armed robbery, rape and
all forms of crime are evil and bad. So is abusing children, child
porn and wow, there are many bad bad things. Should we name all
of them then our discussion becomes more unifying?
