Certainly however co.za is ultimately meant for commercial ventures. It is in the name.

Not really a good argument at all.

Ctreativity is what it is about. If you first think of the name "Nokia"
or first register a generic name "baking.co.za" (or any other name
that I creatively and calculatedIy considered useful and useable)
Now if someone comes 10 years later, like in the case of "mango"
and decide to call your airline something that was first registered
in 1997, you can hardly expect to have a right to it in 2007. Of course
if your legal council argues that the judges cannot understand their
argument because they are unable to comprehend the maths involved
in statistically calculating the chance values of someone naming their
dog "spike" they may win the argument if they were in a cult environment
and nobody was allowed to have any free thoughts.

All the quasi intellectual philosophy is unfortunately not in
my intelectual ability to comprehend as it seems plain stupid to
a common (like grass) person like myself. It seems as if someone
is saying that it is not possible to comprehend something if your
livelyhood depended on it.

They are saying it quite elequently though, and you have to admire
the plain and yet intellectual sounding proposition that now has the
approval and piracy support of at least three people on this list :)

For clarity I quote:
"It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his
livelihood depends upon his not understanding it"

I propose also to add:
"It is impossible to discuss anything with anyone that has
already made a decision not to listen"

or as grammy used to say:
"No one is as deaf as he who does not listen"
