Possibly this explains a lot. The decisions people make could be
based on wrong base information, for example that domain squatting
is the act of registering a generic name like baking.co.za or even
that domain names are finite resources (like land) 

So then when they hear that someone has built a billboard and not
a school they apply morality (and their limited/wrong frame of reference)
consquently they hold opinions similar to that of the late Minister of 
Communications that I am the countries greatest threat on the Internet...

Maybe then people should also not sit in judgement so easily, but 
then again people shouldn't be so vain as to register their own name
as a domain name :)
