So it therefore surely follows that for DMSA to object to multiple 
votes from the same IP address is invalid. Even rejecting multiple 
votes from the same PC is invalid, many PCs are shared (eg in a 
computer lab, or at an Internet cafe).

If DMSA are so grossly naïve as to set about forming an opinion based 
on online voting in the way that they have done, then they must 
surely accept all votes from whatever IP address. That is Statistics 
101 -- you don't change the survey technique after the event simply 
because it returns results that you don't like.
