Any design where you know the recipient is going to be paying for
something that they did not ask for is in principle, morally wrong.

There is no argument about that, even from those that have (and are)
failing misrably at doing anything about it.

Personally I do not sell Spam software, make any money from spam
whatsoever, I am also not a spam fighter or a spam activist and hardly
anyone know (or cares) who I am as I am less than a bug in the Universe

The present global Internet community position is that spam is not criminal,
it is a minor, inexpensive nuisance to be addressed by software, constant
updates, maintenance and so many in the community that contribute to 
the discussions around spam, make money from spam or have some 
different agenda.

This demonstrates the ilk of those that are in fact allocating public
resources and who and what they are in itself.  Personal attacks 
on a public list from someone with an ICANN address says a lot about 
the person doing the attacking and maybe explains why SPAM is still
a problem in 2011 and also highlights the depth of the problem and
why there is no solution, except to criminalise spammers.
