Got one last year sometime asking me to check the windows error logs for red exclamations or something. Claimed to be from MS. I played along and he proceeded to tell me how all of those represents 1000 viruses and then sent me to a remote desktop site. Simple 1 click installer + enter his access details to give him access. Kept him busy for about 15 minutes playing along for fun, then got bored. Told him to call me back after I verify with MS, lol. He did call me back. It appears these calls make the rounds every now and then.
