Re: AfriNIC elections

Hi Nishal,

As stated in my previous email.  The video was there to illustrate the things being discussed and where the community needs representation.  It is up to the viewers of the video to decide if they agree with what they see in it or not.  I've deliberately tried to keep my personal stances out of this at point, since the point of the email was to encourage participation.

I never actually stated that I had a problem with said video, nor did I state that I supported the contents of it  :)

There are many such examples, this is purely one so that the community is aware that AfriNIC means more to our future as an industry than just the simple allocation of resources, and hence involvement is critical.

I'd be more than happy though to debate that clip with anyone off list (or if people DO want to hear my particular stance on it and I get further indication of such from the list, I'll speak to the subject more in a separate thread)

andrew, i've watched the video, and, quite honestly, didn't spot the problem.
