Notice Inviting Additional Public Comment:
NET.ZA and ORG.ZA Final Charters
 
 
The .ZA Domain Name Authority (ZADNA) hereby announces the release of final
charters for the Net.za and Org.za second level domains (SLDs). The two
charters have been published on the ZADNA website (www.zadna.org.za
<http://www.zadna.org.za> ).
 
This follows submissions that ZADNA received from last year's public
consultation process and the additional benchmarking that ZADNA conducted to
ensure that the charters support both the growth of the .ZA namespace and
the stability of the internet domain name system in general.
 
ZADNA¹s Board is aware that the final charters are different in some
respects to the drafts that were published during last year's public
consultation.  Consequently, the Board has decided to invite any party that
may have a strong view against the adoption of either of these charters to
submit such views to ZADNA as soon as possible and in any event before the
closure date mentioned below.
