Before finalisation of the charters, ZADNA would like to invite any other interested party to give feedback/comments about any matter/s that it should take into consideration in finalising the charters. A Charter is effectively the constitution of an SLD, outlining amongst other things the SLD’s purpose and eligibility requirements. ZADNA is releasing these Charters for comment as part of its consultation processes with a view of using the comments to finalise the Charters soon after the submission deadline below. Once finalised the Charters will then be implemented by the current administrators/registry operators. *The call for comment is meant to allow the players in the South African Internet community and those affected by the operations and regulation of the ZA namespace an opportunity to give feedback to these Charters (before they are implemented), and suggest ways in which the Charters may be ehanced to support the principles of choice, access and openness, and support the growth of the ZA namespace.* The deadline for submission of comments is 16h00 on Friday, 30 October 2015.
