Great, now I need to get you to think a bit further than your nose...

you are entitled to your views, like I am to mine, let me answer your
'facts' inline...

I have not slandered anyone. Go read again, exactly what I said.

What fact are you referring to? The single fact that I was arrested?
what about the other "facts"?

I am still a private person, my privacy should be protected, I was not
convicted by a court of any wrong doing. - and again: what about the
other "facts" and that there are 176+ Andre Coetzee's (and at least 3x
IT/ICT/Internet Andre Coetzee's 2x of them Linux Guru's)

Again, in my case, it is done already. My posting is not so much about
myself as it is to discuss where we (South Africa) is, where we are
going (EU, Russia, US, China, Canada - etc) - and to tell the community
that mybroadband.co.za and Rudolph Muller are doing what they are doing.

Anyway, for SA, We will be going in some direction - look at the current proposed
legislation.

No, you are right, but as I said, it is not so much about me as it is
about 1) what happened 2) why it happened 3) where are we going and to
discuss this, so that we can all? (maybe just me) learn and grow...

There is and was no slander - just simple salient fact.

And the fact is that our rights outweigh our responsibilities
currently.and this is changing / will change.

What we can do about it?

Does this community, the SA Internet, support behavior and sites like
mybroadband.co.za, for example?

Should we, our press, our reporters, our bloggers have so much freedom
that it could be used destructively?

Should we have stronger privacy protection, for example, like the
European Union?

etc. etc.

This is what I would love to talk about

Thank you for your honest and open response Kieran, it is more
constructive than other responses thus far...
