daily. They fight all sorts of issues and try to help ordinary South
African=E2=80=99s not get screwed over.

email headers, so anyone can easily see my approximate location. (and
with some extra effort, my physical address - mind you, my address is
on many public whois as well, so I guess there is no prize there..)

Last time I was swotted, I was arrested by the rural SA Police and
held, without trial, for a few days - as everyone knows everyone here -
the chance of me getting swotted again, is slight... Although it pays
well, so do I care? (no not really)

To find out where you are, will take me at least 20 minutes and maybe I
will do that on the weekend if I am bored. the trick is in cracking the
headers google includes to use for their own identification... and
then some additional magic :) but I digress...

You could waste your time doing all the tracing you like and you will find
I am in good old South Africa. Johannesburg to be exact so save yourself
the effort and just enjoy the long weekend.

guessing and jumping to conclusions doesn't generally work very well in

pretty good people :)



In South Africa, we have a long weekend, as Monday is Heritage Day, I
guess it is like the 4th of July in the USA, just with a lot less money,
fireworks
and stuff.

Yes and indeed I will be braai-ing some good old steak, chops and worse
come Monday and hope you do too.

Definitely no fireworks for us, I am also one of those struggling South
African=E2=80=99s like you mention below.



most Africans earn less than us$500 per month, so we generally buy
food before buying anything celebratory (mind you, a month ago I did
buy a small cake, so I guess some of us do splurge)
