Heads up: Vodacom forcibly changing numbers

In order to meet a 28 September ICASA deadline, all sim cards that vodacom
reckon are used for IOT/machine to machine communications are/have forcibly
changed numbers from a 10 digit to a 14 digit number.

So if you are using a vodacom sim card to receive SMS (or please call me)
messages from devices or customers, you will no longer be receiving any
messages because your number has changed (or is about to).    Nice one....

Apparently this happened with MTN last year February.
