Reminders

Greetings nanog-jobs subscribers,

It's been a while since i've posted here, and I just have a couple of
reminders (and a question).

First, please post any openings you run across on this mailing list that
are applicable to the NANOG community.  If you are not sure what 'applicable'
means, please contact me for more information.  This includes even jobs you
have applied for that seemed particularly suitable.  Of course we understand
if you want to respectably delay, but in this tough job market every little
bit helps, and that person you helped get hired somewhere could be a valuable
networking resource down the road.

Secondly, please do not gate this list to other publically available
resources.  This will cut down on any spam harvesting, as well as people
who are not familiar with NANOG joining up and polluting both that list
and this one.

Third and finally, I would like to extend special appreciation to Rachel
Warren for posting several valuable leads that have turned into hires for
people here.

I have noticed an increase in new subscribers to the list over the past
several weeks and i'd like to ask those of you who were recently approved
for membership if you have been in the job search for a while or are just
recently departed from companies like Genuity, Worldcom, AT&T, etc.  Feel
free to respond privately; a summary will be posted to the list.
