Need Zayo to fix a PTR

Soneone in Zayo forgot a little “.” after “zayo.com <http://zayo.com/>” in a DNS zone and this is a/ messing up the formatting of a very legacy mtr report I run and b/ messing up with my OCD:

❯ host 2001:438:ffff::407d:1f69
9.6.f.1.d.7.0.4.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.f.f.f.f.8.3.4.0.1.0.0.2.ip6.arpa domain name pointer ae11.er1.ams1.nl.zip.zayo.com.d.7.0.4.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.f.f.f.f.8.3.4.0.1.0.0.2.ip6.arpa.

After adding the “.” it will become:

9.6.f.1.d.7.0.4.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.f.f.f.f.8.3.4.0.1.0.0.2.ip6.arpa domain name pointer ae11.er1.ams1.nl.zip.zayo.com.

I’ll offer a beer to whoever fixes this.

[as a side note, are PTRs in large network still really manually managed?]
