ARIN is pleased to announce that self-nominations are now open for the 2026 ARIN Elections for the ARIN Board of Trustees, ARIN Advisory Council (AC), or the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC). Active participation in ARIN governance and the Internet number resource Policy Development Process is essential for ARIN to maintain a robust and transparent registry.

We are accepting self-nominations beginning Monday, 8 June, through 7:00 PM ET on Monday, 22 June, for the following:

- Three seats for the ARIN Board of Trustees: Elected individuals will serve three-year terms starting 1 January 2027. Submit your self-nomination at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2026Board-Nom
- Five seats for the ARIN AC: Elected individuals will serve three-year terms starting 1 January 2027. Submit your self-nomination at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2026AC-Nom
- One seat for the NRO NC: Nominees will be considered for appointment by the ARIN Board for a three-year term beginning 1 January 2027. Submit your self-nomination at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2026NRONC-Nom

Nomination Process and Requirements

Eligibility and Role Requirements

Self-nominations are required for all open seats. You may only stand for election for one position; please review the specific qualifications and responsibilities when considering your selection:

- Board of Trustees: https://www.arin.net/about/welcome/board/requirements/
- Advisory Council: https://www.arin.net/about/welcome/ac/requirements/
- NRO NC: https://www.arin.net/about/welcome/nronc/requirements/

All nominees must ensure they comply with the conflict of interest requirements: https://www.arin.net/participate/oversight/elections/processes/conflicts/

Evaluation Process

- Questionnaire: All nominees must submit a completed questionnaire by 7:00 PM ET on Monday, 22 June. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- Evaluation: An independent assessment firm will evaluate all nominees.
- Board-Specific Criteria: Board candidates will undergo additional interviews, background checks, and an evaluation against the guidance letter provided by the current Board of Trustees (https://www.arin.net/vault/participate/oversight/elections/board_nomcom_guidance2026.pdf).

The Nomination Committee will provide an initial slate of candidates that will be announced on Tuesday, 8 September.
