I'm fine with it, but dislike it when the operators violate RFC's by
stripping their own AS out of the AS path.

Everyone is feeling huge price pressure.  There is just too much competition.

As far as Equinix goes, we seem to move into a new Equinix at regular
intervals to get access to more carrier customers opportunities, so 
they continue to get additional revenue from us for colo, power, and 
x-connects.
