REPforum get-together

I have gotten to chat with a number of you over the last few
weeks, and have enjoyed hearing about your regional
exchanges and the successes (and struggles) you have. There
are some great stories and a lot of expertise in the
regional exchange group.

I've been thinking it would be nice for more of us to get to
talk to each other, and discuss the topics and projects that
are so near and dear to each of us (maybe too much ;)

How about an on-line equivalent to meeting for drinks? A
scheduled IRC chat or maybe one of those web-based
conference things? I've done IRC a lot, but anyone have
other suggestions? Maybe a H.323/VoIP/voice conference call?

Would one (or a couple) of the regional exchanges be willing
to "host" the event, as in lead some of the discussion, tell
your story, share your plans and concerns for the future?
