Since there was an Exchange Operator Panel at the last
NANOG, it's unlikely we could do another at the next one.

A Regional Peering BOF at NANOG would be a definite
possibility, though we'd have to figure out how this fits
with the Peering BOF that will also likely happen.

We could certainly look at doing something the day after
NANOG, and see if the hotel could provide one of the NANOG
rooms for one more day.

I think a dinner during or after NANOG would also be a great
way to get together, even if we also did something else.

Kind of depends on what we want to do, and who we want to
join us (ie should it be just us, or do we want to have a
NANOG audience).

I think it would be very worthwhile to get to know what
other regional exchange operators are doing, how you are
finding/engaging new participants, how you are promoting
your exchanges, what issues you are struggling with.

I'd also be interested in exploring if/where it makes sense
for us to work together. How could collaborating or sharing
ideas help make us all more successful? What problems do we
face that would be easier facing as a group? What successes
might be even better if everyone benefited from them?

What other things would you like to see out of a regional
exchange operator get-together?

Pete.
