The Chandler Project is pleased to announce the 0.7.5 release of =20
Chandler Desktop!
The Chandler Project is an open source, standards-based information =20
manager designed for personal use and small group collaboration.
The 0.7.5 release of Chandler Desktop simplifies the Chandler UI by =20
changing elements confusing to new users. In particular, multiple =20
toolbar buttons were removed, =93tasks=94 were replaced with =93starred =20=
items=94, the =93triage=94 button was renamed to =93clean up=94, and the =
items =20
created when first starting have been made more useful. The sidebar =20
list of collections can now be reordered by dragging them in-place. A =20=
variety of build/packaging and platform-specific bugs have also been =20
fixed.
Additionally, Chandler Desktop has updated its sharing protocol to =20
match that of Chandler Server (Cosmo) 0.13. Previously, a user could =20
republish items that had been shared to them read-only to obtain read-=20=
write permission to those items. See [1] and [2] for more information. =20=
People using versions of Chandler Desktop prior to 0.7.5 will not be =20
able to republish items to recent versions of Chandler Server =20
including Chandler Hub.
A list of known issues in this release is at the bottom of this =20
announcement.
Chandler Desktop 0.7.5 is available for download for Windows, Mac, and =20=
Linux at:

sharing scenarios (multiple collections with some read-only and others =20=
read-write, and sharing items via email) or are UI oddities with =20
simple workarounds.
Thanks for your interest in Chandler Desktop!
